Recently Thornlie Christian College embarked on another strategic planning cycle. As part of this process the College Corporate+ (new name of R&D White) to enter the College environment as a ‘pair of new eyes’ to review and seek out areas for the Board in which we may not even be aware that questions were needing to be asked, conducting a financial health check.
The report that they delivered was timely, well-structured and, without being too directive, gave the Board a number of areas in which policy discussions and decisions should take place. Their report allowed the Board to realize that there were not only questions we had not asked but what those questions should be.
